1. General
The I Need Help app is intended to assist people who find themselves in distress or in any kind of emergency, including: violence, assault, theft, antisemitism, accidents, falls, distress while traveling in remote places, and any other situation in which help is needed.
Use of the app is subject to these Terms. By using the app, you agree to these Terms.
2. Purpose of the App and Nature of Help
The app is intended to connect people who trust one another as a community for providing help when needed, and to enable a call for help in times of need.
The help expected through the app includes, among other things:
- Calling an ambulance.
- Calling the police.
- Assisting in reaching the appropriate embassy for the person requesting help.
- Encouraging and assisting in contacting the family of the person requesting help.
- Supportive and helpful presence, in accordance with the law and the situation.
3. Prohibition of Violence and Abuse
The app does not encourage violence in any form.
The app may not be used for violence, threats, harm, revenge, harassment, or any unlawful activity.
In particular, it is prohibited to:
- Commit or encourage any form of violence.
- Commit unlawful acts through the app or in connection with it.
- Exploit or take advantage of a person requesting help.
- Misuse the location or personal details of a person requesting help.
- Send false help requests or mislead other users.
4. Liability
The owners, distributors, operators, and management of the app are not responsible in any way for any damage, loss, injury, or consequence arising from use of the app, including improper or unlawful use by users.
No claims, demands, or lawsuits may be brought against the owners, distributors, or management of the app due to improper use of the app, including any form of violence, unlawful acts, or misuse of a person requesting help, their location, or their personal details.
Responsibility for use of the app rests solely with the user.
5. Blocking Users
The app’s management may, at its sole discretion and at any time, block, suspend, or delete any user who misuses the app, uses it unlawfully, or uses it in violation of these Terms, without prior notice and without any obligation to provide compensation.
6. Emergency Services
The app is not a substitute for emergency services. In a situation of immediate danger, call the police, an ambulance, or the fire department, as applicable and according to the country you are in.
